Fregoli
(Clothes-airer)
- water-level report of general feeling -
A bathroom is an isolated world - a microcosmos.
We bath in the excellent warm water and the light, white lathers overlay. We are fidding in a silent solitude, indulding in day-dreams, and we can not perceive the flight of time - meanwhile the water around us has been gradualy growing cold…
A man is celebrating his birthday. His only companion is his old, worthless radio. He create a mini-Hawaii in his bathroom; his ocean is the bath tub filled with water, his palmtree is made from plastic, the sun is shining from an electric heat-radiator. Our hero looks hapy, the radio intonates joyful Latin-American music. He is drinking, eating, playing; feting and he is trying - once in his life - to enjoy himself. But - of course - he fails this time again.
