Bees
One fine day in Sopropolis two crazy drones (bees) thought that together they would be even crazier. They decided to trumpet this around the world…
BEES have a history 982 years less than a millennium old. Humanity sighed: "at last!" in unison at their appearance.
They appeared at first in 1995 AD in the streets of Sopron and Budapest. Their fame spread like wildfire, and has been spreading ever since. To the delight of the population, they have performed several shows. Beside the different invitations they regularly appear on the Pepsi Sziget in Budapest. They used to have a permanent club first in the Kolibri Cellar then in the Columbus Club, but it does not exist any more.
Extremes characterize their tours abroad as well: they have spread the seeds of serenity in Austria and Australia.
They can also be seen in different television shows (MTV1, MTV2, RTL Klub, ZTV, TV11, ATV etc. in Hungary) and ATV has transmitted the shorter, approximately 50-minute long version of their concert several times.
BEES have only had one album so far which had to be constantly duplicated due to the tremendous interest. Their CD, a higher quality version of the above-mentioned tape, has appeared since then and contains two bonus tracks as well.
Time is not far when, to the great delight of the present and future fans, a new album comes out loaded with brand new tunes and remixes.
Yes! Because humorous songs with a deeper meaning, sparkling rhythms and an extraordinary appearance are all there at the Bees Multimedia Super-show Anti-concert.
A little taste of the repertoire: Greeting song, Parapparapparappara, Barbie song, Zákié, Sirius song, Hey Béla watch out the drill is a very dangerous tool! Etc.
On top of the above-mentioned repertoire, the Bees Multimedia Super-show Anti-concert has become richer with the following highly effective show elements: horror video projection, gastronoise performance, brilliantly executed movement samples, flepnistep, light-, smoke- and pyrotechnical effects and many other unexpected events, not even expected by the performers themselves…
THE BEES: Csaba Méhes and Gábor Hargitai
