Trouts Quintet

or The dumb man and the sea

- problem in one act -

The basic idea for the play was given by schubert's composition „The Trout".

The piano-quintet marches in… that is to say, the firs misician straggers in. …Where are the companions? …The time elapses, the public impatiently waits for the concert; nevertheless his fellow musicians do not arrive. One cannot do anything but wait for the arrival. …But what should be happening in the meantime?

Our friend tries everything to save the extraordinarily awkward situation. However, due to his absent-mindedness and awkwardness, he gets involved in more and more inconvenient situations - perhaps Hemingway would turn over in his grave once or twice.

Finally, the public can leave the theatre satisfied because the still get some „musical experience".
